“What Women Need to Know”  THE NEW BOOK

What I Do

Fibroids

Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths in the uterus, often causing symptoms like heavy menstrual bleeding and pelvic pain. Treatment options range from medication to surgical interventions based on the severity of symptoms.

Advocacy

My daily work revolves around advocacy, shedding light on various reproductive conditions, including Fibroids, PCOS, Endometriosis and overall Menstrual health and wellbeing.  Through engaging content, webinars, and collaborations, Wombbae has become a diverse and inclusive community that empowers women to prioritise their health.

Book

In Latoya’s insightful book, “What Women Need to Know: A Journey Through Fibroid Management,” she shares a deeply personal and empowering exploration of women’s health. With a focus on fibroids, Latoya weaves her own journey seamlessly into a comprehensive guide that resonates with women from all walks of life.

The Origin Story:

Latoya’s advocacy journey took root when she encountered mysterious stomach pains that initially went undiagnosed. Frustrated by the lack of understanding and support, she turned to Social media to share her experiences. Little did she know that this would become the catalyst for a community dedicated to women’s health empowerment.

The Birth

The pandemic provided the space to connect with like-minded individuals globally, leading to the birth of WombBae in 2020.

I didn’t know and the doctors weren’t helping me

Say something to one friend who was a gay man
Who wanted me to go to this party?
I can’t go to the party right now, man. I can’t be here.

I’m just I need to be alone. I’m going through what I’m going through
